A choice of either two or four ultrasonic micro-sensors systems which are fitted into the rear bumper bar - in the case of reversing, and the front bumper bar for parking purposes. the Micro-sensors are 19mm in diameter, can be colour coded to match the vehicle, with wide-angle detection capabilities of 160 degrees horizontally and 60 degrees vertically.

The system is activated when the reverse gear is engaged and indicated by a single audible beep. Thereafter the frequency of the audible beeping tone is determined by the distance between the vehicle and the detected object, as illustrated below:

Installation calls for the sensors to be mounted parallel with level ground, accordingly 10 degree angled micro-sensors to compensate for curved bumper bars are readily available.

This system is suitable for most cars, utes and light commercial vehicles.
