These systems are designed specifically as a parking aid. There is a choice of two (2) - XP328N, or four (4) - XP348N ultrasonic sensor units which are fitted into the front bumper bar of a vehicle. The system will only be activated when the power switch is ON. The light of the LED display unit, mounted on the dashboard will alert the driver when parking of any presence of object/s and the distance in front/front-side of the vehicle.

The LED Display unit comprises two sets (Left and Right), each of five separate lights indicating the following:-

Outer light: 90cms (3ft) zone. (Maximum)
2nd light: 75cms (2.5ft) zone.
3rd light: 60cms (2ft) zone.
4th light: 45cms (1.4\5ft) zone.
Inner light: 30cms (1ft) zone.

An audible tone will beep for one second only at the 30cms (1ft) zone. There are no other audible beeps. As for the Reverse Sensors, these units can be colour coded to match that of the vehicle and/or bumper-bar.

Installation calls for the sensors to be mounted parallel with level ground, accordingly 10 degree angled micro-sensors to compensate for curved bumper bars are readily available.

This system is suitable for most cars, utes and light commercial vehicles.
